Review and How to use Benefit Erase Paste Concealer

May 21, 2010 · Posted in Eye Concealers

I’m a big fan of this concealer. Here I show you how well it conceals for me; for those of you that aren’t familiar with my other videos I included pictures so you can see the coverage. If you have any questions just ask :) Benefit’s Erase Paste is $26 and can be purchased at Ulta, Sephora and obviously at Benefit stores.

@justforaccess09 ooh good luck! I hope you like it :) a little goes a long way with it! Make sure you set it with somethin so it doesn’t move around :)

just got this concealer in the mail today :) its very creamy and i’m excited to see how well it works covering my acne problems and brightening my tired eyes :)

Well it’s a concealer and brightner in one. I’m very pale so adding more and more products just makes my face get cakey and whatnot so it actually works just fine for me especially since my problem is just concealing redness and scars. I don’t have a big problem with under eye circles but I can see why you recommended that.

for me, it works well over concealer…the Erase paste is more of a brightner than an actual concealer..at least for me. I start with Bobbi Borwn and the dab on very little Erase Paste and it wakes my eyes up..and draws attention away from your under eye circles. But personally i would not recommend this soley for concealing.

I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you! I’m still using it and find that it works well with either my finger when applying or a concealer brush. The finger method sorta melts the product to keep it from drying so quickly. Thanks for watching!

i actually bought this product a while ago, i agree with you about the scoop thing, its def a extra thing. I used it for a couple of days, before i replaced it. I didn’t like the fact that it dries soo quickly, it really didn’t help with my skin type

It’s more for makeup application as a concealer to hide blemishes, scars and discoloration. If you are looking for a treatment to lighten scars or blemishes try the whitening mask from mariobadescu . com :)

Does the erase paste brighten as a treatment or a make up? Or both?
    Your quite pretty btw.

Of course! Anytime :D Glad I can help.

    okay, will do, thanks again!

you’re welcome! Check out Boi-ing if you happen to go to the Benefit store or Ulta to see which works best for you. Boi-ing is great for under eyes too but it doesn’t brighten as Erase Paste does I believe. I have acne scars so this is why I use Erase Paste…it’s creamier and easy to work with in my opinion :) Remember if you buy at Ulta you can return no questions asked!

kind of, its for under eye circles as well. i think im going to get the erase paste now though! ^_^ thanks for the help & thanks for replying so quick (:

Never heard of eyebright! Is that another concealer? I googled it and it looked like it was a supplement. I use this mainly for any flaws/blemishes I want to cover and it really does great for that. Just depends on what you are looking for and what you’re using it for!

  15. Crazieeforyou on May 21st, 2010 9:20 am

I dont know if I should get this instead of eyebright..i cant choose..could you help? (: thanks.

I have never used boi-ing however I believe there are 3 different shades and it is meant for dark under eye circles or discoloration. If you can go to an ULTA I would definitely play around with the two and see which you like better and depending on what you are needing it for you can determine which works best for you.
I think boi-ing is a bit lighter in coverage and erase paste is more for brightning your skin/flaws. You can read more at benefitcosmetics(.)com

What’s the differance between the erase paste and the bo-ing concealer? Howich was your bare minerals concealer? Thanks!

I’m going to ULTA in just a few minutes actually, lol. Thanks for your help :)

skin smooth etc… and when I used to refuse to use that (it made my face really dry) my foundation would go on cakey with just moisturizer. So moisturize first, use a primer or revver uppper and then foundation :) Hope that helps!

  20. ambersaurus on May 21st, 2010 11:20 am

If you have an ULTA or Sephora or even the BM store near you I recommend that you go in there and express concern with the shade that you are using. I have been told that some people may need to mix two different shades of foundation to get that perfect color. If your foundation is too dark/orangey try mixing in some of your mineral veil when applying. That can help lighten it up a bit until you can get matched. Do you use the revver upper before applying? That helps it to adhere and makes your

Thanks! And also, I just wear BM and it seems to look cakey on me? I don’t know why. And the foundation makes me look a little orange sometimes. Is it just a wrong shade?

  22. ambersaurus on May 21st, 2010 12:03 pm

I use Bisque which is a BM concealer and sometimes I don’t bother using Erase Paste when I’m not going to be wearing makeup all that long. SO yes if you have their concealer brush dab a generous amount onto it and use that to conceal before you use the BM foundation. It will smooth it out and give you great coverage! At least in my experience ;) I like Erase Paste when I have major dark circles and bad blemishes/scars… but some days I just don’t need it! So Bisque is the way to go ;)

  23. itskristeeeen on May 21st, 2010 12:16 pm

I bought erase paste yesterday, but i think it makes me look a little cakey. I’m going to return it and get summer bisque (bare minerals). Do you think it would give me coverage to just use that concealer on acne and what not?

  24. ambersaurus on May 21st, 2010 1:10 pm

Glad I could help!! It’s seriously the best investment I’ve made :) Thanks for watching Angie :)
